Refer a young person to our services

Semi Independence Setting

Our houses are homely, welcoming and furnished to a high standard, providing a warm, safe, caring environment.

Services are staffed 24-7 by established staff teams ensuring consistency in the provision of support.

Our staff are trained and experienced in the sector, offering person-centred support through ongoing risk assessment and support planning to ensure that pathway plans and the wishes of the young person are supported.

All of our properties are within reach of community facilities, such as shops, healthcare, leisure and education, with good transport links.  Young people are supported not only to achieve personal and life-skills development but also to attend appointments, education, family contact and hobbies.

Young people are supported to develop choice in their lives, staff work hard to empower young people around their choices and rights.

Our success comes from experienced, tenacious staff, good boundary setting, knowledge and a total believe in young people and what is needed to promote a young person to independent living and a successful future.

Moving can be a daunting experience. Access to Care hope to make this process as smooth as possible for all involved, ensuring young people are placed in the correct service and receive the appropriate level of support  to meet their individual needs. When considering placements, Access to Care will always prioritise meeting both the needs of the young person and of those already in placement.
